Ya lo del Getafe de José Bordalás esta siendo una locura, pues tal vez han vivido su mejor semana de los años recientes, pues más allá de las formas, ya que nunca he sido fanático del fútbol que practican, los resultados hablan por sí solos, no sólo consiguiendo dos victorias consecutivas por liga, que los posiciona provisionalmente en la sexta posición de la tabla, sino que además, consiguieron la victoria más increíble que he visto en mi vida en la Copa del Rey.

Aunque son uno de los equipos con más bajo presupuesto de todo el torneo español, y perdieron varios jugadores importantes para mantener sus cuentas saneadas, lo hecho hasta aquí es un verdadero milagro, y que hay honrar a quien honor merece. No sólo se despidieron de Alderete, uno de sus mejores defensas el año pasado, sino que también Uche salió con destino a la Premier League, siendo este el jugador más polifuncional de Bordalás, pues pese a ser mediocampista de contención, el año pasado sumó muchos minutos como el delantero centro del equipo.

Lo único que si no me agrada de todo esto, es el roce de lo antideportivo en su juego en muchos partidos, y la degeneración global en el arbitraje, que muchas veces permiten el exceso de roce, ya que no es lo suficientemente duro para amonestar, dejando a un lado lo reincidentes que suelen ser, e incluso, en el último partido contra el Girona, el árbitro pitó ya al final del juego una falta supuestamente en ataque, cuando era evidente la falta sobre el delantero y penal, por lo menos al final, fue corregido por el VAR.

The only thing I dislike about all this is the tendency towards unsportsmanlike conduct in many matches, and the overall decline in refereeing, which often allows excessive physical play because it's not harsh enough to warrant a caution. Se que los equipos pequeños no tienen el mismo presupuesto para jugar en igualdad de condiciones contra los grandes, menos en el desastre financiero que hay en España, pero en un esquema defensivo no necesita rozar lo antideportivo para ser efectivo. Esto desvirtúa la competición, vuelve los partidos del Getafe inmirables y aburridos, y siento que en su mejor estado de forma, es el mejor momento para tocar este tipo de temas.

I know that smaller teams don't have the same budget to compete on equal terms with the big ones, especially given the financial crisis in Spain, but a defensive system doesn't need to be unsportsmanlike to be effective. This distorts the competition, makes Getafe's matches unwatchable and boring, and I feel that when they're in top form, it's the perfect time to address these issues.
