Para el día lunes, Italia visitará a la sorpresa del grupo, Israel, quien para esa jornada 6 se encuentra como segunda de grupo con 9 puntos, luego de 3 victorias y 1 derrota, por lo que de no conseguir los 3 puntos, ya podríamos descartar casi definitivamente a Italia en el boleto directo. El mayor rival de la Nazionale es sin duda Noruega, quien no sólo anda a un gran nivel, sino que será su rival en la última jornada, momento en el cual se definirá el primer lugar, y aunque quisiera ser más positivo, pienso que la azzurra terminará jugando el repechaje, donde ahí si los veo clasificando al mundial 2026.
