Mavrapanos Playing Himself Into Consideration
It’s no secret that Arsenal have been shambolic at the back for years now but it looks like the back line could be shaping up!
We’ve been getting rid of a lot of the error prone defenders we had in Sokratis, Mustafi and Kolasinac but I think there’s more trimming to be done with Bellerin and Luiz to go
Holding, Mari and Gabriel have been looking better but we do need a 4th centre back to stand up and be counted and it looks like Mav is doing it on loan at Stuttgart his been brilliant of late and put in another winning performance against Mustafi and Kolasinac no less!
Mav won 100% of his aireal duels and was cool and confident on the ball! Something we have really been lacking I think he really is one to watch over the coming season
Plenty of players have left arsenal on loan for them to kick on so hoping this will be another case

I think I love the word you used to describe the Arsenal team but then, I don't think there is any team that hasn't been in the back but a move shows that the team is tired of the back and wants to move for a change. I think their last game with Leicester City has shown how much of a shaping up they've been shaping up at the back.
The last game was a surprise, especially because they conceded so early and defended badly for that goal! Leicester also didn't really stretch the defense much, so I'm still not confident in the backline but lets see how they get on until the end of the season

Arsenal really need the shaping up I believe.

Lol they need a swift kick up the Arse and a few sackings too! They get away with playing shit for far too long
at first when Arteta bring David Luiz is to add experience toward younger player. But he is getting too old, and we need to replace him faster by the younger one.
as far as I concern, the back line are always be worst part of Arsenal squad.
Luiz has been a disaster in my opinion, his just another Mustafi, i'd get rid of him so fast. I prefer Holding and Mari, Gabby still needs to prove himself too, he started off well but has faded in recent games.
Oh for sure, we haven't had a solid backline since Campbell and Kolo
