Arsenal could turn surplus players into a 40 million windfall

Arsenal have several players that are going to leave on a free at the end of the season so drumming up some cash in January is going to be a priority! I don’t see them doing it because we’ll they arsenal and we have a pretty terrible record when it comes to transfers

Rumour has it they can pull together around 40 million in January if the following players are moved on

Mohamed Elneny - £9million

Elneny looks certain to leave the Gunners in January having had a failed attempt earlier this season.reports suggesting that an agreement has already been made with Galatasaray for the midfielder after failing to get the deal through in the last window

Elneny has six months remain his contract at the Emirates and if the Gunners are to cash in, they will have to do so in January.

He is valued at £9 million which is a small drop from the £11 million paid to Basel for his services

Eddie Nketiah - £10.8million

Nketiah came close to move during the summer transfer window only for Crystal Palace but couldn’t even agree a fee and palace turned to Odsonne Edouard instead.

Latest reports, however, suggest that Nketiah is actively looking to leave the Emirates and, like Elneny, With westham, Leeds or Newcastle a possible destination

If they do, Transfermarkt suggest that they could bring in at least £10.8 million for his services

Calum Chambers - £10.8million

Chambers' days at Arsenal appear to be numbered, with the versatile defender appearing just twice in the Premier League this season. Everton have expressed an interest in him and it’s suggested that Jose Mourinho has been offered the chance to bring the 26-year-old to Roma and if he were to make a move, a fee of around £10.8 million

Saed Kolasinac - £3.15million

Another player whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season is Sead Kolasinac and the Gunners will be looking to move him on for some cash in January.

Having been shipped out on loan to Schalke last season he didn’t do enough to secure a move and arsenal sit with him until his contract extension runs out

Selling him may also be an issue due a serious injury forcing him from the field during an international game
