Arsenals new young guns

Arsenal has had a great run nurturing youngsters and giving them first-team opportunities. In recent times we've seen players like Joe Willock, Ainsley Maitland Niles, Emile Smith Rowe, Reis Nelson, and Bakayo Saka come through to the first team.

Willock has moved on for 25 million to Newcastle, while Nelson remains on loan at Feyenoord, which I hope to see him return and take Pepe's spot on the team if we can move him on.

Maitland Niles could be off to Roma, while Smith Rowe and Saka are without a doubt first-team players. But they are not the only ones who have a shot at the first team and there are others knocking on the door.

Miguel Azeez

Miguel Adedayo Azeez is a 19-year-old midfielder who is currently on loan at Portsmouth, his made 6 appearances so far and is probably one of the main reasons why Arsenal moved on Joe Willock. While he may not have the attacking intent of Willock, he does bring the same ball-carrying runs and more physicality to the midfield.

I think that if Maitland Niles is moved on it will be due to the progress of Azeez and he could be brought into the first team sooner.

Charlie Patino

Making his debut and scoring proves all the chatter about this kid, his primed to be the next Jack Wilshire, and with Patino's running, passing ability, and touch he has everything to become an Arsenal legend should Mikel use him wisely in his early years of development.

Omar Rekik

While not a fully homegrown player, he is a young up and coming Defender that looks to break into the first team. I honestly think we can move on Chambers, Holding, Mavraponos, and Mari so we can make room for Rekik and Saliba to compete with White and Gabriel.

Marcelo Flores

The Mexican forward is an absolute live wire, his got pace to burn and an eye for all, while still raw and needs a few years of first-team football I do think he will make it into the first team and push the likes of Nelson, Martinelli, and Pepe for a spot on the wide ends of the Arsenal team.

It could also see Martinelli pushed upfront and Flores taking on the vacated wing space.

Nikolaj Möller

We haven't had a plan B since Giroud left and the big Swede could come into the striking department to provide that height and target man to try and change the game or push the ball upfield faster to bring in options for pacey wide men.

Very keen to see these 5 players moved into the first team over the next few seasons
