Arsenal Were Robbed
It's been a while since I've seen Arsenal play so well, they came out of the gates strong, and even though they had less possession, they were sharper on the ball and in the final third. Arsenal was well worth their lead and should have had a penalty after Ederson took out Odegaard.

Clearly, the referee and VAR were paid off because the decisions were gross. Arsenal was well on their way to winning this one and a big turnaround from the 5-0 thrashing they received in the last game against city.
Man city seems to have been afforded every advantage in this game, As you can see from the video, Ederson takes the foot of Odegaard well before he gets the ball and it's a stonewall penalty.
After that, city were handed a pretty soft penality from our weak link in the team Xhaka, who should never play for Arsenal again, I don't know how many times he needs to make a mistake before he is dropped for good and sold. Look how well we did without him and now with Auba, so why even bother with this liability?
After the equaliser Gabriel was sent off for a bit of a soft challenge, which I can concede but if that is a sending off so should Rodri's wild sliding tackle.
Martinelli equalizer
Even when we were down to 10 men, Arsenal still came out firing and had a chance to retake the lead with Martinelli hitting the bar, however, he would have scored had the ref not interfered with the play and ran across Gabriel as he was on his way to strike the ball.
City was struggling and clearly, they had to send the ref some shitcoins or something for him to blow so poorly. Anyway on to the next game which should be an easy win if we can keep playing with this form and tempo

The penalty clearly wasn't a penalty but I guess these things happen.
All part of keeping the talking points going the EPL is so desperate to manufacture drama these days
