Arsenal Looking To Loan Melo

Arsenal is in need of a midfielder and there are rumors they are looking to bring in Gini on loan from PSG but there has not been any concrete evidence of a move yet. Arsenal has also been linked with Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes but due to the £37.5m price tag involved, it looks unlikely they'll be willing to part with that kind of money for a January signing.

Another long-term target is a fellow Brazilian Arthur Melo of Juventus, who could be a stop-gap solution if we can secure a loan move for the player who like Gini has fallen out with his team and has not had much game time.

If Arsenal can secure either Gini or Melo on a 6-month loan deal I think it would be worth it, even if they are not at their best. Both players have undoubted quality and would make the midfield better.

Arsenal's best team does have some promise but it relies on the same players and if one gets injured it could throw off the momentum. We need to get players who can fill in to keep the squad fresh.

As other teams are strengthened Arsenal has been trimming down their squad but eventually, there has to be some incoming players to keep the momentum going and maintian the fight for top 4 and perhaps securing a cup run with three games standing between them and the Caraboa cup.
