Cup Exit Could Be Spence's Arsenal Audition

Arsenal was disappointingly kicked out of the FA Cup by Nottingham Forest and they deserved to go through, the Gunners were poor, and one stand out player was their right-back Djed Spence, the 21-year-old was full of running and confidence and showed some real quality in defense as well as his ability to get forward.

His performances have really improved his stock and the player on loan from Middlesboro now commands a fee of 10 million pounds, no small figure for someone playing in the lower leagues of English football.

Arsenal is not the only one after him and his performances have attracted more eyes as there is strong interest from Roma and Inter Milan. Spence has made 20 appearances for his on-loan club this season - scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Ian Wright was bringing the kids praises after the game and compared him to Reece James and Alexander Arnold, which is a flattering comparision. Arsenal is in the market for a right-back with Bellerin and Cedric on the way out either this month or the end of the season, and bringing in a player who can be loaned out may not be a bad option.

I hope he doesn't turn into a Cohen Brammal, the player we signed from Non-league after a few good cup performances, the full-back signed for Arsenal, but never made it into the first team after much hype.
