Mikel Has Nearly Revamped The Entire Squad

Mikel has been on a mission to clear out the squad of the squad he took over in 2018 there are 12 players still at the club and of that 12 may probably be around at the start of the season.

If we look at who still remains its

• Smith Rowe
• Rob Holding

Who I think will still be at the club, other than that the other players seem up for grabs such as

• Eddie Nketia
• Alex Lacazette
• Ainsley Maitland-Niles
• Matteo Guendouzi
• Mo Elneny
• Hector Bellerin
• Bernd Leno
• Lucas Torriera
• Kostas Mavrapanos
• Granit Xhaka

I don't see many of these players having a U-Turn and remaining at the club and there's more deadwood and cash to extract from this team as the rebuild continues. Moving on 12 players should not only bring in some funds but also reduce the wage bill massively making it easier to spend on recruiting players and offering attractive wages to get them on long-term deals.

This is still a gamble considering the top players will want champions league and that is the goal Arsenal need to secure if they have any hope of securing decent players in the next transfer window.
