Arsenal Keen To Give £114 Million Flop A Chance
Arsenal is scouring the transfer market for any available players or a sniffer of interest and even moving towards the realm of gambling. In a bid to bring in a forward it's rumored that they are adding Joao Felix to the list. The Premier League club is in desperate need of a reliable striker and it looks Atletico Madrid has run out of patience with their marquee signing and is ready to recoup the huge transfer fee they paid.
The Gunners will be looking to sign at least two strikers in the summer as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was allowed to leave for Barcelona and Eddie Nketia and Lacazette will be leaving on free transfers. That leaves 3 forward positions vacant and since forwards don't come cheap, they will need to use their budget sparingly.

Felix left Benfica 3 years ago and landed at the Wanda Metropolitano in 2019 for an eye-watering £114m and was dubbed to be the next big star. Under Simeone, they were sure he would shine and take on the mantel of Athletico strikers of the past like Torres, Aguero, Costa, and Greizeman.
Since joining Athletic Felix has failed to live up to his transfer fee scoring 23 goals in 100 matches for the Spanish giants with the 22-year-old struggling in more games than you would like to see.
Felix still has a contract until the summer of 2026 at Atletico but there are rumors the club is ready to cut their losses. While looking to replace him with fellow countryman and Valencia striker Goncalo Guedes.
How much they can get for him, I don't know but transfermarkt rates him at 60 million, a fee I think is still far too pricy for such a risky gamble.

He might be a good sign, but I don't think I'll want him in our team, he's known for being arrogant and we all know Arteta can't work with anyone who question him in anyway.
