Get Gone, Geundouzi

Guendouzi was signed under the previous manager Unai Emery and at the tender age of 19-year-old in July 2018 for a fee in the region on £ 8million, his undeniable talent for his age made him favorite under Unai Emery and talks of him becoming a future superstar started to circulate.

However, as fate would have it Unai would be sacked and under Mikel Arteta, Guendouzi didn't make the cut shipped him out on loan to Hertha Berlin and now Marseille.

Guendouzi struggled to make an impression in the German capital but has been revitalized in the Riviera. His performances have been enough to secure him a deal back to France for 9 million and at this point, I just think Arsenal would take anything for him.

Getting him off the books was the primary reason, since he did not have a future with the club, a decision we could regret in the future.

Despite his obvious talent the young Frenchman was often in the papers for the wrong reasons. We saw glimpses of poor attitude both at Arsenal and at Marseille but Sampaoli believes he can turn it around and with some maturity and leadership can turn him into the player his talent deserves.
