Arsenal Eye Darwin Nunez

Arsenal is in the market for two strikers and the list keeps growing of potential targets, a new name added to the list of late is Benfica striker Darwin Nunez

Arsenal has already failed in bagging one big-money forward in the form of Dusan Vlahovic and if they are going to try and chase another European hot property it won't be easy to beat out competition from the world's biggest clubs.

Clubs that can offer him more money, and champions league and the possibility of trophies.

Nunez wont come cheap as he is reportedly valued at up to €65million (£53.9million). He has already been to Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, West Ham United, and Manchester United with many of these teams not too bothered by the price.

Nunez an Uruguayan international is often compared to Luis Suarez who we all remember came from Ajax and turned into a Liverpool star. If we are going to secure such a high-profile player it would take some negotiating, something I don't think Edu has the chops for and I think we will lose out on this one.

As Bayern and Athletico are looking for a striker too, I think that they would be far more attractive options for Darwin.
