Pepe Looks To Get A Shot At Number 9 Role

Arsenals' scoring has been pathetic of late with only 1 goal in the last 3 lossses and it doesn't look like they have any idea on how to get the ball in the back of the net. Lacazette and Nketia have been hopeless infront of goal, with Nketia yet to score from open play this season.

Lacazette has scored 6 times this season with 8 assists having played most of the season upfront which is a pathetic return. While Nketia has 5 goals this season and 1 assist.

Both strikers have a shot accuracy of below 45% and its no wonder they're not hitting the back of the net.

Mikel gave him a chance to prove us wrong and he didn't, Nketia should be dropped and let go he is clearly a waste of a spot on the bench.

Mikel Arteta has one last role of the dice try to reverse the fortunes by utilising Nicolas Pepe as a striker. He has been a flop as a winger, his delviery as been poor, he doesn't seem to have the creativity to get around the full back and he just seems like someone who needs to have more touches on the ball to get going.

Martinelli and Saka have made the wings their position which is why Pepe has been on the bench but with Laca and Nketia not firing, he seems the only other option as we failed to bring in a striker and we let Balogan and Nelson leave on loan.

Pepe has 3 goals this season and 5 assists, having played very little, so now is his chance to play himself into the team or we make the decision to sell him should he not deliver.
