Elneny To Be Offered New Deal As Back Up For 2nd Attempt For Tielemans

Arsenal were on their way out of the top four after Parteys injury exposed the club's lack of options, but after 3 losses on the bounce, Mikel turned to Wenger signing Mohammed Elneney who has not lost a game since he stepped into the midfield.

Mo has always been viewed as a perfect squad player by Mikel Arteta, who has not played much for the club following a year-long loan with Besiktas.

Elneny has proven his worth and has openly said he would sign a new deal if offered one to remain at the club, and I think they should do it, he has been brilliant and we need more players like him who will stand up and be counted.

Arsenal are looking to add more quality to their midfield but with Tielemans previous bid failing and Aouar not seeming likley it will remain to be seen who Arsenal can secure having been linked with a number of players.

This week we heard that Arsenal would make a second bid for Tielemans, who would be a great addition to the club, but that doesn't mean we don't need more options.

Elneny has been at the club for 6 years arriving from Basel in 2016, in that time he has Arsenal to FA Cup success and 2 Community Shields with 80 appearances the Premier League and scoring one goal
