Spurs Batter Arsenal In The NLD

Arsenal had a not a much win, but a game they needed to win should they wish to scure their champions league ambitions and close the gap on Chelsea for third and they couldn't do it. Spurs absolutely smashed them after a penality for a silly mistake by Cedric and then later Rob Holding getting a careless sending off killed the game off really early and Kane and Son picked them off

Arsenal did play well despite having gone down to 10 men and if you consider that we are now without Ben White and Holding, we only have 1 recognised centre-back.

Xhaka and Tomiaysi had to play at the centre-back roles and if you're playing a CM and a RB at CB you cannot expect much.

Spurs enjoy the win and close the gap to 1 point, but Arsenal still has 2 games to go, if they win both games 4th place is theirs so it's Arsenals to lose. It's really disappointing after Arsenal is coming off 4 wins, which you would think would mean we're in a good run of form.

It also just shows the lack of depth and goal scoring threat of Arsenal and they really need to go out and get 2 decent strikers in ASAP if anything. I think we can get away with most of the same team and with Saliba back the defence is a little stronger.

So strikers are the only focus for me.
