Arsenal Looking At Midfield Inspiration IN Brandt

Arsenal could be handed the opportunity to land long-term midfield target Julian Brandt this summer. Brandt was thought to be on Mikel Arteta's list of January targets, as Arsenal needs more guile in the midfield and goals.

There are now reports coming out of Germany now suggesting that Borussia Dortmund 'no longer plan' to have him in their squad next season and are keen to cash in on the star. The player is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League and that could hand Arsenal the key.

Since the club wants him to go and he is keen to leave a cut-price deal could be on the cards with same saying he could move for as little as £16.5million.

Julian is a great player but hasn't performed well for Dortmund in recent years and I don't think Arsenal should be chasing out of form players having no shortage of that already. Julian also would also require a bumper deal and with this being that age where he wants to secure that big payday I don't think Arsenal is the move for him.
