Six Players Set To Return For NLD

Arsenal came out winners in their last game despite a thinning squad, that saw us play the youngest player in premier league history. There were some returning faces like Partey and Tierney who played most of the game, while Tomiyasi continues to make sub appearances making his way back to full fitness.

The more notable absentees were due to injury concerns before the international break too, with Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Emile Smith Rowe, Cedric Soares, Reiss Nelson, and Mohamed Elneny all unavailable for selection prior to Arsenal's 3-0 win over Brentford last weekend.

Arsenal has two tricky ties to deal with in a derby against Spurs and a game against Liverpool, which will be the toughest two back to back games to date and will really test their resolve in holding on to top spot this season. Having city free scoring and breathing down our necks following the loss to United, we cannot afford to slip up now.

Having 6 more options coming back into contention at the right time is a good sign of our chances as we can rotate should there be any injuries or they cannot operate for the full game. Arsenal will need to ensure their front line is well stocked because against Spurs and Liverpool it wont be about clean sheets, it will be about who outscores whom
