Balogun Continues To Fire With Fine Form

The irony of football is never lost on fans, and the what if's are one of the reasons why the game attracts so many people. Arsenal has been in fine form this year, grinding out wins to remain at the top of the league thus far, but their strikers are simply not scoring.

Jesus hasn't scored in 9 games and Nketiah couldn't hit a barn door with a machine gun, yet the striker we let out on loan is banging them in for fun in France with a team that can bearly hold mid-table status.

Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun made his 14th appearance and 12th start for Stade de Reims over the weekend, featuring in the lineup at home to FC Nantes and smashing in the winner and his 7th goal of the season.

After shaking off an injury scare the previous week, The striker ended up back in the starting lineup and making a big impact helping Reims to all three points.

He is now 8th in the league for most goals and if he keeps this up only 3 goals would have him up there with the top scorers Mbappe and Neymar. It really shows the quality of the lad and what he is able to bring to the team once he returns, I think or rather hope that he follows in the footsteps of Saliba and once he returns is a first-choice player.

I honestly never rated Nketiah and wanted him to move on and now we might just have the excuse to sell him on to another club.
