Gunners Keen On Young and Snappy Piero Hincapie

Arsenal are looking for a new fourth center back to compete with Saliba and Gabriel as they are keen to move on Mari and Holding but want someone that can grow with the squad. Finding young centre-backs with a lot of top-tier game time is tough so when there is one, you can be sure clubs are already sniffing around. Arsenal has recently been named as one of the clubs interested in a move for Piero Hincapie as he shines for his country at the World Cup.

The 20-year-old has emerged as a promising defender and regularly starts for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. But its been his fine performances for the Ecuador squad in the world cup putting him on the wish list of top clubs.

The youngster is now attracting the attention of several teams including Chelsea and Tottenham who are add him to their squad.

The report reveals the Gunners have become one of the main challengers, with Chelsea seen as the club with the most profound interest in him.

At 20, Hincapie has so much experience because he plays regularly, and having 40 appearances for Leverkusen already and 2 goals at such a young age is a testament to his growth. He is currently rated at 22 million but with so many big clubs after him, I am sure that fee will increase to close to double that.
