Arsenal Scouts Sent Out To Watch Japan V Spain

Spain and Japan face off in group E today and with current Gunner Tomiyasi out, and none of the Japan team looking like they have players we'd be keen on the Gunners are sending out scouts to watch the match. Spain seem to be breezing through the group stages and might be inclined to field a team of fringe players against Japan.

There is hope that both Pino and Soler two Arsenal targets will get a start in this game. Pino and Soler have emerged as attainable targets, and both would have hoped to use the World Cup to showcase their qualities on the biggest platform.

Soler joined PSG in a £17million deal in September but is already linked with an exit after starting just four Ligue 1 games and one in the Champions League group stage.

While Pino who is at Villareal might be keen to leave after seeing Unai drop the club in favour of Villa. However, with fees set at 35 - 40 million, it might be a harder sell to get him to move. The 20-year-old winger has been in impressive form for the Yellow Submarines this season registering six goals and four assists in all competitions.
