Mikel Turns His Eyes To Ghanaian Wide Man
The world cup has been a great advert for some players to get a move to a big club this season or in the summer and none more so than the Ajax winger Mo Kudus who scored 2 goals against Korea earlier this week.
Along with 2 goals for his country he has also been in great form on the club level with 10 goals to his name across all competitions so far this season for Ajax
This includes one against Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League - the Ghanaian could be a welcome addition to the Gunners' first-team squad but only on the condition that he's willing to accept competition for a place in the starting XI.
Predominately an attacking midfielder, Kudus has operated as a center-forward for Ajax this season and on the right-hand side of the attack which means he could add depth in the engine room whilst providing cover for Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka which is something Arsenal seems to be looking for right now as a replacement for Pepe.
At the age of 23 he is the right age to come into the squad and compete with the current set of players and at the price tag of 15 million, he is well within Arsenal's budget.
Given that Thomas Partey also plays for the Arsenal and he is a fan favourite, he could also step in and give Kudus a nudge towards signing to play at the Emirates.
