Gunners Add Calha To The Transfer Target List

Arsenal are still looking for a central midfielder and rumours have emerged that they could be interested in a move for Inter Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu in the transfer window. It comes as the Gunners eye further depth to their squad to continue their early season form, which has the top of the Premier League and if they fail to secure top targets like Teliemans, Fakier or Aouar.

The Nerazzurri are said to value the Turkey international at €30million (£25.7million), but Premier League rivals Aston Villa are also eyeing a switch for the former AC Milan player. Hakan has had a consistent time in Italy since his liveware days in Germany but never really hit the heights of his full potential.

Many saw him as the next Ozil, which should give you an idea of how good they thought he would be and at 28 he has very little time to prove it. A move to a club like Arsenal could be his last chance to prove himself at the highest level
