Gunners To Pen Martinelli To Long Term Deal
Arsenal have taken a risk on building a youthful team with many of those gambles paying off, birthing a set of amazing new players like Saka, Martinelli, Smith Rowe, and more. Since these young players have flourished, eyes are on them and many teams are willing to poach them the moment Arsenal slip up. A mistake we've made many times letting top players walk out the door for next to nothing or worse, for free.
Arsenal are set to remedy that and are reportedly ready to secure Gabriel Martinelli’s long-term future.
The 21-year-old has been offered to sign a new deal with the Gunners worth £200,000-a-week, according to the Mail.
The report adds that that would make the Brazilian winger one of the highest earners at the club ad represent a massive jump from his current £70k a week packet.
Tripling his salary at such an early age I do think is a mistake, since that doesn't give you much room to offer him a pay bump in the future.
Martinelli is without a doubt a starter on the left side of midfield and many teams would love to have a player of his talent and work ethic. If Arsenal can secure both Martinelli and Saka to long-term deals they know they have players they can build around for the next 5 seasons.

I agree. Martinelli and Saka have been amazing for Arsenal. Looks like the management is backing Arteta really well. Hope they can bring their glory back.
If they can bring back the title this year regardless of what they do for the rest of their careers they will be legends
