Thursday Feels like Friday & My Actifit Report Card: September 21 2023
The happy thought of having no responsibilities at work tomorrow is probably the reason for the feeling that today feels like Friday. YAY!
Tomorrow has been formally declared a public holiday - down here - in recognition of the Teacher's Day Celebration that will take place on Saturday. This will allow everyone to take part in the celebrations without being bound by obligations to work or attend school.
As the clock ticked towards 1:45 PM, marking the end of the school day, I seized the opportunity to leave work as quickly as I could, feeling the anticipation and excitement for the upcoming long weekend. Not going anywhere anyway and I still have an extra job in the morning but the thought of not having to get up early makes me thrilled. 😄
I decided to skip my fitness dance class after my extra afternoon job and took a last-minute diversion to the spa instead. I had originally planned to treat myself to a simple manicure and pedicure. But when the lady asked whether I'd want to add a foot massage, I quickly and unhesitatingly accepted. I was in such a deep state of relaxation for the entire session that I occasionally slept off. LOL
