Surprising Vocab Moments & My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2023

It's fascinating how kids can surprise us with their vocabulary!
In this case, I couldn't help but be amazed (and maybe a bit shocked) when the kid I've been working with at my extra afternoon job dropped a word that made me go, "What? Where did you learn that?" I've known him and have been working with him since he was 4, has Autism, and is now 21 years old, acts half of his age, and is is always innocent. Digging deeper, I found out he understands the word and even provided synonyms like "bloody hell" and the big F-word. My boy has really grown up. 🥺 I did remind him that these aren't good words to freely use. As a result,, he shifted the tiles and smiled at me while saying 'hits'. Hahaha. I can't help but laugh. His mom confessed the "bloody hell" came from her, but the other two? Mom says probably YouTube. 🧐
Today felt unusually exhausting. Despite being tired yesterday, today's fatigue seemed to be twice as much. I did get enough sleep, which made me ponder the cause. I believe it's probably due to the heat. The weather was indeed different today—scorching and extremely humid. Despite these conditions, I managed to stay active and even did two hours of enjoyable K-pop fitness dance at the studio. Well done to myself, I guess. LOL.
That's it for me now. Heavy rain at the moment and the bed's waving. 😄

Greatest story and well played young man! My wife works with autistic children and simply repeat what they hear in the context they understand, and yes, so much comes from YouTube! The most common profanity we hear is 'what the fuck'. When uttered by a sweet 6 year old moderately autistic girl, its hard not to laugh but learning from YouTube isn't all bad!
