Sweets Galore & My Actifit Report Card: November 27 2023
As I walked around school today, there were sweets everywhere. They weren't for the kids but for us adults, marking the end of the term and celebrating the upcoming holidays that everyone is excited about! I avoided the durian because I don't like it and went for a few Maltesers instead. They helped me wake up a bit since I was feeling sleepy! Mondays are always tough, especially today since I stayed up late chatting with my sister-in-law. Eeeeek.
Then, during my afternoon job, my student baked a carrot and pineapple cake. It looked delicious, and he was so eager for me to taste it, which I did. I had a slice, and oh my gosh, it was indeed yummy. The carrot, pineapple and nuts he had mixed together were perfect and it was not that sweet as well which is why I enjoyed it. In the end, he was overjoyed that I loved what he baked. And yeah, realising it now, I forgot to take a photo of it. LOL
