Party Clean up, Snake Surprise, Birthday Serenade & My Actifit Report Card: December 19 2023

My day started by cleaning up the aftermath of last night's party. The challenging part came when the sink got clogged, and water wouldn't flow down. Despite attempting to fix it with boiled water and pumping, the pipes underneath leaked. Worried about the gardening supplies stored below—fertilizers in a sack and a paper bag full of tools—I had to pull everything out. As I lifted the paper bag, it tore, causing the tools to fall. Surprise, a baby snake emerged and slithered among the tools. I debated whether to kill it or let it go into the jungle. Opting for the latter, I used a dustpan to pick it up and released it in the back jungle. I'm unsure of the snake's species, but its head resembled that of a cobra. Sheesh.

After lunch, I left the staycation house for my three-hour part-time job. Upon arriving at my student's place, he was in the living room watching. He quickly greeted me, asking if he could watch a bit more before we started. I agreed, saying yes but only for five minutes. He countered, "How about ten minutes?" Knowing he understood when I meant business, I looked at him, and he conceded with a laugh, saying, "Okay, 5 minutes." 😅

The day concluded with an energetic two hours of Kpop dance fitness and Zumba. The studio crew sweetly serenaded me with a happy birthday song, thanks to Aleen, who knew it was my birthday yesterday. Apart from buckets of sweat, the session felt rewarding—it seemed like I had successfully worked off all the food and whiskeys from last night. LOL.
