Why Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time

this is a topic that sends the footballing community into a frenzy every time someone brings it up. it is the classic Ronaldo VS Messi who is better debate.
In today's post I am going to be giving my thoughts and reasoning to why Cristiano Ronaldo Is the best player in the world and the greatest player of all time.

Now onto the post.
My first reason on why I believe Ronaldo is the best
Kept up with the ever-evolving game
Over the years we have seen football get faster and more tactically influenced over the years and despite it evolving Ronaldo has been able to not only keep up but continue to be amongst the top best players for well over a decade.
Not only this but he's been able to do unbelievable things on the pitch at times where it should have been impossible.
Has achieved for club and his country
Ronaldo has not only won Trophies for his club he has also won trophies for his Country Portugal.
He's won trophies at every club he has been to. Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. 4 clubs 4 different Leagues.
Ronaldo has won the EURO 2016 with Portugal and most recently the Nations League with Portugal too.
His goal tally for Portugal right now is 101 goals for his country only 8 away from the world record of most goals scored for country.
With all his trophies with the clubs and his country he also has a ton of personal awards.
Despite Messi having more Ballon D'Or awards, it's only 1 trophy more and although Messi is a top player he has been at Barcelona his entire career.
Ronaldo doesn't retire or make accusations when he loses
This one for me is a gamechanger it seems despite Messi being A world-class player he is one to accuse of corruption, Bribery and all sorts whenever something goes against him especially when he plays for his country Argentina here is a link to one article about him calling a competition corrupt.
He has also "retired" from international football then came back and then threatened to retire again multiple times.
Messi has also had plenty of drama at his club Barcelona in the last few seasons due to the club not going in the direction he wants and multiple times has threatened to leave but didn't.
whereas Ronaldo doesn't seem to do that in fact he left Real Madrid after winning a third UCL title in a row he could have easily stayed and won more but instead decided to leave after the Final and move to Juventus in italy.
Overal thoughts
Messi is up there for being one of the best but for me, Ronaldo winning the three UCL titles for Real Madrid, winning titles at every club, winning for his country Portugal and doing impossible things on the pitch and I find him the best of the best

Here's some context so its the UCL round of 16 and Juventus lose 2-0 in the first leg to Atletico Madrid the Atletico fans taunt Ronaldo on his way out of Spain and a week later they play the second leg of the game

Before Real Madrid won their third UCL in a row they had A tough game against Juventus and the game was great and Ronaldo was exceptional and his second goal has gone down as one of the best goals scored in the UCL here is the highlights for you
Portugal v Spain - 2018 FIFA World Cup
Personally, it was one of a few of my favourite game of the 2018 world cup the only regret was that it was a group game and not A knockout match. Ronaldo carried Portugal to draw against Spain

He's not a team player and will never be the greatest for that reason.
define A team player why isn't Ronaldo A team player in the 2014-15 season he had 16 assists for real Madrid and has only had under 10 assists 4 times during 2009-10 to 2017-18 season. He may not has the best assists record but he has the goals. @loveprevails thanks for getting involved in the discussion :)
Assists are not a measure of a good team work, it is a basic teamwork thst 99% of everyone have. He have more assists than others because he is a better player.
He is not a team player because he never tackle, never run after ball when out of possession, will rather cry when somebody touches him instead of going hard and finishing the action. So many things...
He is simply not a team player.
I mean you could say that sure Ronaldo may not be the best team player but for me he is still a great team player because of his influence on the pitch he is always the target man just like Messi but Messi is also guilty of not tackling players and not running to get the ball back if anything Messi spends most of his time walking around on the pitch.
