I Made a Cake Using Cassava - My Actifit Report Card: September 28 2023
Hello Actifitters!
Today, when I went to the market early in the morning, I found a lot of cassava crops. I did purchase it without any specific recipe in mind. In our location, I almost never see any, and when I do, they are usually more expensively priced. However, I saw this one for a lower price, so I decided to buy it. When I go home, I'll consider what to make. I go shopping for what I need, then I return home right away.
My husband saw the bag filled with cassava when I got home and asked me what I would do with it. I gave him an unsure answer, but one thing is for sure: we will be eating those cassavas later.
After considering a few dishes that are made of cassava online, the one I end up trying is what we call "cassava cake", This is my first time doing it, and I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, so I just followed the recipe I found online. It tasted good, but I just wish I had added more time to broil it so the toppings turned an amber color, but nonetheless, it tasted just like what cassava cake should taste like.
