Hoy se enfrentaban Portugal y Turquía por la supremacía del grupo y clasificación a los octavos de final de la Eurocopa 2024, un partido que prometía, pero que en el desarrollo se pudo notar una superioridad lusa de principio a fin.

Con el desempeño de ambos en su primer partido se pronosticaba un juego bastante parejo; sin embargo, la calidad colectiva e individual de Portugal marcaron una diferencia bastante notable. Con goleada, el equipo comandado por Cristiano Ronaldo en su sexta Eurocopa venció a Turquía y aseguró el primer lugar del grupo.

Se hizo algo monótono, poca emoción, y algo aburrido, esto porque Turquía no presentó ninguna resistencia, ni defensiva, ni ofensivamente. Vincenzo Móntela planteó un juego enfocado en la posesión del esférico, pero no le funcionó, algo parecido a lo que Spalletti quiso hacer en el partido entre Italia y España, donde todo resultó en un fracaso.

Con esta victoria, Portugal se solidifica como uno de los candidatos a levantar el trofeo, realmente están jugando un buen fútbol, toques rápidos, velocidad por las bandas y calidad en cada una de las líneas. Es una selección muy equilibrada, con jugadores jóvenes como Leao y experimentados como Pepe y Ronaldo, además de una gran cantidad de jugadores en las ligas más importantes del mundo. Definitivamente, es uno de los equipos a tomar en cuenta.

Ahora bien, para concluir, solo queda esperar el cruce en octavos para los lusos, quienes sí o sí, sin importar cómo quede el último partido contra Georgia, clasificarán en el primer lugar.
