Comenzando el 2022 haciendo deportes: Una partida de softball entre amigos / Starting 2022 doing sports: A softball game among friends.

Hola amigos de full deportes, tengan un cordial saludo y un feliz año 2022, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un contenido algo diferente, como suelen saber mis publicaciones siempre son referentes al mundo del futbol, pero esta vez traigo un recuento de la actividad deportiva que realizamos el 1ro de Enero de este nuevo año, un compartir entre hermanos de la Iglesia y algunos amigos que también participaron, por lo que espero que disfruten de esta publicación.

Hello friends of full sports, have a warm greeting and a happy year 2022, today I want to share with you a somewhat different content, as you usually know my publications are always related to the world of soccer, but this time I bring a recount of the sporting activity we did on January 1 of this new year, a sharing between brothers of the Church and some friends who also participated, so I hope you enjoy this publication.

Entre varios hermanos decidimos planificar reunirnos a jugar softball, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de personas interesadas pensamos que fue la mejor elección ya que jugar básquet o futbol también estaba entre los planes. Lo primero que hicimos fue pedir prestado el estadio para ese día, y muy amablemente nos lo concedieron de modo que estuvimos allí desde la mañana hasta aproximadamente las cuatro de la tarde, el estadio queda en la vía de Tamaca en la ciudad de Barquisimeto Edo. Lara (Venezuela).

Among several brothers we decided to plan to get together to play softball, taking into account the number of people interested we thought it was the best choice since playing basketball or soccer was also among the plans. The first thing we did was to borrow the stadium for that day, and very kindly they gave it to us so we were there from the morning until approximately four in the afternoon, the stadium is on the road to Tamaca in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State (Venezuela).

Una vez allí lo primero fue calentar, habían unos hermanos que tenían cierta experiencia en sus años pasados en este deporte, por lo que se vislumbraba unas partidas bastantes competitivas, y en efecto fue asi, jugamos partidos de 3 innings para que otros también pudieran entrar a jugar en el equipo que perdiera. De los 5 juegos el equipo donde estuve ganamos dos solamente y perdimos el último en extra inning, nos dejaron en el terreno 5-4.

Once there the first thing was to warm up, there were some brothers who had some experience in their past years in this sport, so we could see some very competitive games, and indeed it was so, we played 3 innings games so that others could also enter to play in the team that lost. Of the 5 games the team I was on won only two and lost the last one in extra inning, leaving us on the field 5-4.

Pero más allá de los resultados, quien ganara o quien perdiera, lo más importante fue el compartir familiar, muchas veces debido al trabajo y otras ocupaciones olvidamos que la familia es lo más importante, y como hombres no estamos muy acostumbrados a sacar tiempo para disfrutar en familia (hablo primeramente por mi), sin embargo este tipo de actividades son muy propicias para eso, ya que nos permite disfrutar y conocernos un poco más, tanto mi esposa como mis dos hijos pequeños se divirtieron bastante, y sé que el resto de las familias que participaron también pueden decir lo mismo.

But beyond the results, who won or who lost, the most important thing was the family sharing, many times due to work and other occupations we forget that family is the most important thing, and as men we are not very used to take time to enjoy family (I speak primarily for me), however this type of activities are very conducive to that, as it allows us to enjoy and know each other a little more, both my wife and my two young children had a lot of fun, and I know that the rest of the families who participated can also say the same.

Particularmente estoy muy agradecido con Dios por esta oportunidad que me permitió disfrutar, tenía muchos años sin jugar, sin embargo jugué beisbol desde que tenía 3 años de edad hasta aproximadamente los 20 años, fueron más de 15 años jugando, asi que pude participar en los 5 partidos sin que me sacaran, y mi balance general fue de 7-5 con triple incluido jajá, de verdad que la pase muy bien. Tambien fue divertido ver otros hermanos y amigos que tenían poca experiencia en este deporte esforzarse por dar lo mejor, como @abelcam07 por dar un ejemplo, un gran amigo y hermano que conozco desde la infancia, que también es parte de esta comunidad; asi como él muchos otros.

Particularly I am very grateful to God for this opportunity that allowed me to enjoy, I had many years without playing, however I played baseball since I was 3 years old until I was about 20 years old, it was more than 15 years playing, so I could participate in the 5 games without being taken out, and my overall balance was 7-5 with triple included haha, I really had a great time. It was also fun to see other brothers and friends who had little experience in this sport strive to give their best, as @abelcam07 to give an example, a great friend and brother I know since childhood, who is also part of this community, as well as many others.

Ahora bien, hablando un poco de los partidos, tengo que confesar que fueron encuentros muy disputados, tanto los niños como los adultos que participaron jugaron muy bien, al momento de batear unos destacaron más que otros, asi como también a la hora de cubrir, y como siempre no faltó quien discutiera con el árbitro una que otra jugada jajá. Tambien tuvimos una excelente barra, nuestras esposas y nuestros niños animando en todo tiempo hicieron que estar en medio de ese sol tan fuerte fuera más agradable y llevadero. De hecho fue mi amada esposa quien tomo la mayoría de las fotos, aunque suelo ser yo quien se toma esta tarea, en esta oportunidad no podía, asi que mi ayuda idónea se tomó la tarea. A continuación les compartiré algunas postales de ese agradable día.

Now, talking a little about the games, I have to confess that they were very disputed matches, both children and adults who participated played very well, at the time of batting some stood out more than others, as well as when covering, and as always there was no shortage who argued with the umpire one play or another haha. We also had an excellent bar, our wives and our children cheering at all times made being in the middle of that strong sun more pleasant and bearable. In fact it was my beloved wife who took most of the pictures, although I am usually the one who takes this task, this time I couldn't, so my ideal help took the task. Next I will share with you some postcards of that pleasant day.

Por último, no me queda más que agradecerles por haber llegado hasta aquí, y enfatizo en lo siguiente: Cuan importante son los compartir en familia, son tiempos de calidad en los que vale la pena invertir, asi que si no lo haces, te animo a hacerlo, y si ya lo haces muy bien, no dejes de hacerlo, son momentos que perduran en la memoria para toda la vida.

Finally, I can only thank you for having made it this far, and I emphasize the following: How important family sharing is, it is quality time worth investing in, so if you don't do it, I encourage you to do it, and if you already do it very well, don't stop doing it, they are moments that last in your memory for a lifetime.
