The Derby della Mole took place yesterday in Turin and it was the Bianconeri who took the victory in a match that gave us 6 goals and a lot of emotion during the 90 minutes. This Derby usually has a lot of intensity, that is because in Turin Juventus reigns and Torino has not been able to establish itself as the best team in the city, something that has been defined for a long time, but still there is some rivalry between the two clubs and fans.

For Juve this victory means more than just winning a Derby, they are three points that help them in their fight for European places for next season, with 14 games left they are in seventh place just 6 points behind Atalanta who have 41 points and are not at their best, it is quite possible that if they continue at this pace Juve could overtake them. It is worth noting that if it were not for the -15 points sanction the Vecchia signora would be Napoli's escort with 50 points, but it seems that this sanction has been good for them, so to speak, of the last 7 games they have not lost any, they have won 5 in Serie A and one in Champions League, the rest a draw but zero defeats.

It is true that the team is motivated, you can notice a different attitude on the pitch, the veterans are doing a better job, for example Di Maria who has become decisive in some of the victories scoring great goals, Danilo is also doing well, he has assumed the captaincy of Juve in a very professional way and his dedication can not be discussed. As for the youngsters nothing to reproach them, they do well every time they are on the pitch, some of them fighting for the starting lineup while others are doing well coming from the bench, the important thing is that they are playing with the right mentality at all times.

Nuevos y viejos en la cancha / New and old on the field

Enzo Barrenechea was part of the starting team for the first time, the young Argentine made his debut in Serie A and like all young players he showed a good level, the 21 year old midfielder was on par with his teammates and together with Fagioli they were in charge of setting up the game in the middle of the field. It is imperative that Allegri continues to mix youth with experience, this is something that is giving him good results lately, Fagioli is a marvel and this player also looks to have good performances, when Miretti returns from injury the options will improve in midfield.

And speaking of improvements, yesterday in the 67th minute, Paul Pogba, who was out with injury, came on for the team and the fans, Pogba has a brilliant past with the vecchia signora, sincerely a lot is expected from him because he has a great level. In the short time he played he showed some touches worthy of praise, but that are not surprising since he is used to do them every time he has the opportunity, his presence in the middle of the field ensures a better quality in the control of the ball.

Now, talking a bit about the match, it was quite exciting, Torino took the lead in the second minute of the match but Cuadrado put the parity with a great goal in the 16th minute, however this did not last long, the visitors took the lead again before the end of the first half and in the added minute Danilo would tie things again. The second half had the same rhythm but the goals came from the Bianconeri side only, Bremer in the 71st minute and Rabiot in the 80th minute would put an end to a game that did not disappoint at any time.

Allegri again had a tactical arrangement a bit unusual, a 3-5-2 masquerading as 3-5-1-1 with Di Maria playing as a midfielder, something I don't particularly like, the variations in Massimiliano's lineup are stressful, they don't reflect stability, in that sense he is very similar to Mourinho, the coach he will have to face on Sunday, which is the match of the day and will take place at the Olimpico. Roma is another of the direct rivals that Juve has to beat, I'm sure it will be an exciting duel, and speaking of the lineups we do not know what these coaches can surprise us with. Finally and to conclude, the fight for the European places is the most exciting thing we will have in the rest of the season, an unusual approach but still interesting.
