La Juventus de Turín volvió a mostrar debilidad en su juego, una falencia que había estado ausente desde hace varias fechas, pero que fue notoria en el partido del día sábado contra el Bolonia, equipo que se ubica en la posición número 13 de la tabla de posiciones y sin ninguna oportunidad de alcanzar algo más que la permanencia en Serie A esta temporada. Para la Vecchia signora es un resultado lapidario en sus aspiraciones por el Scudetto, si bien aún tenían una ligera oportunidad, con el empate del día sábado eso se ha esfumado completamente dejando solo a tres equipos en la recta final, a saber son el Inter, el AC Milan y el Napoli.

El partido contra el Bolonia suponía una victoria fácil para los de casa, pero no supieron aprovechar su superioridad en la cancha y terminaron empatando de forma agónica gracias a que su rival se quedó con 9 jugadores en los últimos 15 minutos del juego, un partido donde la Juve se notó sin ganas de querer los 3 puntos. Es paradójico pero luego de recibir el gol en la segunda mitad y verse en apuros fue donde despertaron y mostraron algo de “garra” para rescatar un punto que se veía muy lejos de conseguir. Si observamos las estadísticas notaremos un “dominio” abrumador de la Juve con más de 20 disparos pero que no muestran la realidad de un encuentro que iban perdiendo claramente. La estrategia de ambos técnicos fue determinante para lo que se vio en la cancha, Allegri fue claramente superado de forma táctica por el técnico del Bolonia, quien con 5 mediocampistas era el dueño del balón y de la mitad de la cancha, algo que tradujo en gol con una genialidad de Arnautovic, pero que se derrumbó luego de dos expulsiones seguidas.

It is paradoxical, but after conceding a goal in the second half and finding themselves in trouble, they woke up and showed some "grit" to rescue a point that was far from being earned. If we look at the statistics we will notice an overwhelming "dominance" of Juve with more than 20 shots but they do not show the reality of a game they were clearly losing. The strategy of both coaches was decisive for what was seen on the pitch, Allegri was clearly outplayed tactically by the Bologna coach, who with 5 midfielders was the owner of the ball and of the midfield, something that he translated into a goal with a brilliant goal by Arnautovic, but that collapsed after two consecutive expulsions.

El funcionamiento de la Juventus no termino de encajar, un 4-3-3 que ha dado muchos problemas ya que coloca a Dybala en una posición que no es muy favorable para su estilo de juego, el argentino ha mostrado ser más efectivo cuando juega de enganche detrás de Vlahovic y Morata, pero cuando comparte la punta con ellos su juego se diluye hasta desaparecerse completamente, pues no es lo mismo tenerlo lanzando y recibiendo centros que generando ocasiones desde el medio del campo. Este detalle fue un claro error de Allegri que no pudo remediar, pues no cambio su formación sino que trajo a Bernardeschi en sustitución de Paulo y el funcionamiento fue prácticamente el mismo.

Con la mira puesta en Europa / With their sights set on Europe

Esta es la segunda temporada consecutiva en que la Juve se despide de la carrera por el título de la Serie A, ya que es muy difícil que los tres equipos que estan por encima pierdan la mayoría de sus encuentros, por lo que la Vecchia signora se coloca en una situación de mantener su lugar actual, el cual es asegurar su participación europea para el siguiente año, y para eso deben luchar a muerte para terminar mínimo como cuartos en la tabla de posiciones. Una tabla que se encuentra algo apretada ahora mismo, y puede apretarse un poco más de ganar la Roma su partido el día de hoy. Muchos críticos y conocedores de este deporte veían una Juve de sexto lugar al finalizar el torneo, pero es muy posible que sus predicciones terminen estando equivocadas, pues Allegri a pesar de todo ha estado encontrando la clave para manejar a este equipo de una forma más segura. Sin embargo de los 5 partidos restantes, 3 de ellos se muestran un poco complicados de tramitar, el Sassuolo, la Fiorentina y la Lazio son equipos que le han plantado cara a la Juve en la primera ronda, inclusive el Sassuolo les gano, y debido a eso no se pueden catalogar como encuentros sencillos aunque la calidad técnica de los bianconeri sea superior hombre por hombre.

Solo restan 5 fechas y el torneo va por un rumbo donde puede definirse todo antes de la última jornada, las tres fechas siguientes pueden ser determinantes para que se muestre un claro resultado o siga la paridad hasta el final. Incluso los dos encuentros de la loba de Mou ante el Napoli y el Inter son de tal importancia que esos resultados decantaran la balanza hacia algunos de los equipos, tanto la Juve como el Milan pueden salir beneficiados ampliamente, sobre todo los bianconeri que son perseguidos precisamente por la Roma. Este es el panorama restante, un cuadro con unas pinceladas hermosas que poco a poco van mostrando el arte final.
