Money is pouring into U.S. sports books on a game known to many in this country as ping-pong.
According to the Oregon Lottery Scoreboard App, which witnessed wagering of $218 million in the year 2020, Basketball saw the highest with $7 mio, football saw $5 mio and table tennis ranked ahead of baseball and ice hockey with $4 mio.
Table Tennis ranked the fourth highest wagering on the lottery apps, indicating the growing interest in the game.
Average bet amount for table tennis was highest with $51 each bet.
