Oliveira vs. Makhachev

I’m not really up to date with ufc or whatever but that was one match that I paid attention to, and it was a pretty good matchup imo
Oliviera putting Islam in a submission hold in the first round was a pretty tense moment, and I didn’t think Islam would be able to escape that hold
But he did nonetheless, managing to wear Oliviera down for the second round
Then they spar again for quite a bit and it turns into a striking match
Oliviera tries to land some sort of kick on Islam but Islam’s reaction was faster and he hit him with a clean shot to the face before forcing him into submission
Overall a fun matchup and I think both fighters did well
Oliviera played more aggressively in the first round compared to the second tho
I think some people were saying that this match was meant to show that Oliviera had a chance against Khabib, but I don’t think that’s the case.
