L'immagine mostra un mazzo di crisantemi gialli, il suo nome Chrysanthemum deriva dal greco e significa "fiore d'oro" ma si trovano anche in altri colori, bianco, viola, rosso.In Cina sono stati sviluppati molti ibridi e questo fiore viene utilizzato nei matrimoni nell' Asia Orientale dove simboleggia gioia, amore, vitalitá e felicitá duratura, mentre in Italia viene utilizzato per la commemorazione dei defunti, in quanto fiorisce fra la fine di ottobre e l'inizio di novembre.I crisantemi sono piante perenni e possono raggiungere il metro d'altezza. È consigliabile tenerli lontano dai gatti in quanto velenosi.
