I saw Gang Gang Cockatoos!!

Gang gangs are native to Australia but I don't think they live up in Brisbane as I feel like I only ever see them when I come south.

Since we're currently in Northern Victoria, we are in Gang Gang territory. And while walking parkrun with one of the dogs we're caring for at this housesit I saw a tree with at least TEN all feeding at once.

It was delightful 😊

While I don't consider myself a Twitcher (bird lover) because I love so MANY different kinds of animals, I do love all species of Cockatoos. Especially the ones I don't see very often like Gang Gangs.

They're my favorite. So shy and beautiful. We had aale and female drinking from our birdbath only tonight. Their creaky door sound is so recognisable. We get those and yellow tailed black cockies here.
