Hello Friends,

Who would have thought the sports will be back on track this much early when the Pandemic Corona is still making sound all around the World?
Well, yes, Sports is getting back to normal with tournaments like French Open, IPL and many Football tournaments restarted with or without the crowd watching from the stadiums.
Right now, it's French Open Tennis tournament going on in Roland Garros and we are already into the semi-final stage of men's and women's singles matches.
Let's review the 8 matches we have on hands with 2 of the 4 women's semifinals scheduled later today.

Men's Singles Semifinals:

Match 1: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Alexander Zverev:

So, it's left up to 4 players and 2 matches to decide this year's French Open Singles Champion and these 2 young players will be raring to go when they play each other tomorrow in First semifinal.
It will number 5 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas versus number 6 Alexander Zverev.
These guys have played 7 matches against each other before this and Tsitsipas holds the edge with 5 wins.
Interestingly, it will be their First meeting in a grand slam event and no doubt both are fighters, but they will have some nervousness.
It will take some effort for Alexander Zverev to improve his 2020 US Open runner up status as he will have Tsitsipas first and then he has to face one of the two legends in Rafa or Djoker if he moves into final to win his first majors.
As for Tsitsipas, he is much improved player and this highest ranked Greek player and youngest player on ATP top 10 rankings right now will be the one to watch out for future.
Tsitsipas has already reached his Fourth semifinal in grand slams and he will be keen to improve that by reaching the final.

Match 2: Rafael Nadal versus Novak Djokovic:

Well, what to say about these 2 legends? They are great ambassadors for the sports and they will be facing each other for the 58th time in all the ATP tours!!!!
While King of Clay Rafael Nadal will be the favorite when the match starts tomorrow, but Djoker will also fancy his chances and he is the one who has beaten Rafa at French Open Quarterfinal in 2015.
Out of 58 meetings so far, Djokovic leads Rafa by 29-28, a slender lead and will that be equal when the match is over tomorrow?
Let's hope the best player on the day wins the match tomorrow.
But, being a Rafa fan, I want him to win tomorrow and go onto win his Fourteenth French Open title.
It's a great sporting rivalry between Rafa and Djoker and even they know that and for them it's just another match and hope even we take it in that sportive manner.

Women's Singles Semifinals:

Match 1 - Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova vs Tamara Zidanšek:

By the time I write this, the match is already over with 31st ranked Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reaching her first grand slam singles final beating the unseeded Tamara Zidanšek.
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has bettered his previous best results of reaching Quarter finals in all 4 majors to reach Final this year.
She has been a regular top 50 WTA ranking player since 2008 and currently she is ranked 32 in the WTA rankings.
It will be a heartbreak for Tamara Zidansek but she will be proud of her achievement this year and will climb from her current ranking of 85 and this semifinal appearance will give more confidence to her to achieve more.

Match 2 - Barbora Krejcikova vs Maria Sakkari:

Maria Sakkari and Barbora Krejcikova are fighting it out in the second women's singles semifinal with both of them winning a set each and tied at 5-5 in the Third set.
Seventeenth seeded Maria Sakkari has already created history as she is the First Greece woman to reach the Quarterfinals and Semifinals of a grand slam singles event.
Whether she wins the final or not, she will be bettering her current ranking of 18 and may even break into top 10 for the first time!!!
For Barbora Krejcikova it will dream come true to reach the semi final of a singles event and she is no stranger to grand slam tittles as she is a 5 time winner of grand slam doubles/mixed doubles.
Barbora Krejcikova too will improve her current singles ranking of 33 to be in top 15 if not top 10.
As I write this, these 2 have locked horns at 77 in the final set with tiebreaker games going on.
Oh wow!!! Barbora Krejcikova has actually beat Maria Sakkari to reach the final as a unseeded player and she creates history too!!!!!
Let's hope we see a Winner title in singles section to add to her 5 doubles titles she has already won.

Both exciting matches at the semi finals of the men singles division. They are both must watch.

Would love to see Djokovic and Tsitsipas in the finals. However hope the better candidate makes it there

Yeah, both matches will be good ones.
2 young guys fighting it to move to final and face one of the legends.

I am sure it won't be an easy match for both Rafa and Djoker.

Let the better player win :)

Yeah. The future of the sport. Would be nice to see them phase them legends out. Maybe not yet but quite sooner

Never easy with this two. It will surely be a tough clash and a fight for supremacy.
