Hello Sports Lovers,

I hope you are having a good Wednesday as we are into mid of this week.

When me and @cryptoandcoffee discussed and planned to bring out this My Sports Bucket List blogging event on Sports Talk Social community, our main intention was to get more and more sports lovers to come up with their bucket list of events they plan to attend and in turn, there will be many blogs for us to curate as part of @ocd's Community Incubation Program.

Looking at the overwhelming response we are getting on this, I can recollect the words from @cryptoandcoffee as he was telling like he has conducted such events in the past and has been successful.

Thanks to all those who have turned out so far for this event and to others who are planning to write one in these coming days as the event will run for 2 weeks.

I am someone who follow limited number of Sports, but some of the Sports Talk Social community members brings out such a nice blogs about some of the sports I don't follow, I have decided to include a mix of my own favorites and few from those I have read about in my bucket list of events I would like to watch directly from the stadium!!!

So, here I go with my favorites Sports events and the details of places/stadiums I wanna watch it from.

1. Cricket at The Lord's

It's been strange for myself to say that, I am a BIG Cricket lover and haven't yet watched a match live from stadium!!!!

It's not that, I haven't been any Cricket grounds, but, there weren't matches going on when I visited :)

I was fortunate to visit 3 Cricket grounds including the one I mentioned in this heading, The Lord's with Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan and Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka both being in India.

Having said that, just like it will be a dream for every Cricket player to play a match at Mecca of Cricket, the Lord's, I feel it will be a dream for any spectator to watch a match at The Lord's and that's First in my bucket list of wishes :).

2. The Wimbledon:

Well, I am not a fan of Football, Baseball or even Basketball, but there is another ball which makes me glue to the TV other than Cricket ball is Tennis ball.

Yes, Tennis is something I love to watch other than Cricket and that has my Second wish in my bucket list, that is to watch a Wimbledon match from Center Court!!!

While my UK trip was there for Six months, I couldn't go to The Wimbledon just to visit it although the matches were going on and that was because I had just landed in UK and there was huge work to be completed as part of the project work I had been to UK.

Wimbledon still keeps that attraction inspite of being 100+ years old tournament because of it's own charm, whether it's the white clothing the players wear unlike in other majors or those flush green courts.

While I watched a Davis Cup Tennis match live in Bangalore between India and visiting Uzbekistan back in 2017, my dream of watching a major tournament like Wimbledon is still there.

If I ever get a chance to visit again to UK, I will ensure I visit Wimbledon and hope there will be some matches going on at that time :).

3. MMA:

Do you think I am a fan of MMA? I am not!!!

But the way some of my fellow Sports bloggers on Sports Talk Social like @sports.guy55, @edprivat and @adhammer explains it, I just got curious and thought of visiting a MMA match and that may not be a match between McGregor vs Khabib just like in the picture shown above.

And this curiosity made me to search for MMA matches near me and it seems Bangalore also has so many MMA training centers and also some matches goes on it seems.

So, that's an opportunity on my next visit to Bangalore and that will be #3 in my bucket list.

4. The Olympics:

My 2012 trip to UK brings back so many memories to me as for as Sports are concerned.

It was The Lord's visit and my inability to go to Wimbledon and then there is another disappointment as well in the form of not affording to watch an event in 2012 London Olympics even though I was there in UK at the time the event was happening!!

Yes, the ticket rates were too high and as I had just landed in UK at that time, I couldn't afford to buy the tickets.

That's a history now and that made me more resolute to have an ambition of watching some Olympics Sports some time in the future and definitely that may not be the Paris Olympics as of now :).

Let's keep it as my Fourth event to watch in my bucket list :).

MMA is something which is a new event for me, the other remains something I have always watched and Cricket remains my number one passion as I write this.

I thought of including IPL matches at UAE, but, it's been an ongoing event and who knows, next year, it may come back to India with pandemic getting under control!!!!

Thanks to @cryptoandcoffee for this idea and also for including me in his discussions.

Happy to have worked as a curator for Sports Talk Social community and I am always thankful to @sportstalksocial, @cryptoandcoffe and @patrickulrich and others involved in building this community.

Do you find this bucket list interesting? I know there are common Sports, but yes, that's what I like as a Sports lover :)

Thanks for all the support guys :)

Have a great Wednesday :)

True, I am sure, it will be electrifying there...

Even our very own Eden Gardens is good enough to visit as it's one of the best in the country.

Thanks for visiting @asif7

Hehe, the Paris Olympics are also on my bucket list, as is a World Cup or European Championship football game, preferably Belgium playing! I will make a post about this too! Great initiative

Paris will be on many people's bucket lists as it will be the major event after Football.

Nice to know you are participating in this initiative, good day my friend :)

This is a very cool list man!

You are right, BUngalore has also many MMA gyms, and even Muay Thai Academies! So, you stayed in the UK for 6 months, how was the life there for you?

I lived in London for a year also, 15 years ago 😁

London is on costlier side, but I used to stay in Staines and it was OK for me.
I use to visit Hammersmith and Milton Keynes very often as my friends used to be there.
Overall, it was a nice experience staying in UK :)

Definitely the Olympics should have been on my list... But I didn't mention it because it contains multiple sporting events. Let's see what the future holds...

Very true, but I think we can take it as an event rather than a particular Sport just like many have mentioned.
I particularly like all the events where my fellow Country Athletes participates :)
