OCD Sportstalk Curation Incubation and Sports Updates

Hello Sports Lovers,

Before I proceed and write about Sports events for this week or about the OCD Sportstalk Curation Incubation, there is something I would like to bring to your notice.

As part of curation team for Sports Talk Social, me and @cryptoandcoffee keep discussing about so many things like how to improve curation, how to get rid of plagiarism or tag abuse or even how to bring more audience and inspire our bloggers to give us more chances of curation and nominate more and more blogs to @ocd.

For that, we discussed to re-introduce the bucket list event @cryptoandcoffee use to bring earlier and I would like to point you to the new event penned out by @cryptoandcoffee in this blog and participate in the blogging event for a chance to be curated by us and also to have a chance of being nominated to @ocd for the curation as part of the Incubation Program.

OK, here I go with OCD Sportstalk Curation Incubation Updates.

In Cricket sports news, IPL has started with a bang with CSK, KKR and DC winning 2 out of 2 so far and teams like MI, RCB and SRH losing 2 out of 2 to change the points table for the middle and lower placed teams and the First and Second position is being interchanged between DC and CSK as they continue to win their matches.

The postponed Fifth Test between India and England will now be played in 2022 and it's not confirmed whether it will be part of the concluded series or as a one off test.

England joined New Zealand in cancelling their tour to Pakistan citing security concerns and that will be a major setback for Cricket in Pakistan.

Australian women cricketers won 2 out of 2 ODI matches against Indian women cricketers and Third match is scheduled later today.

Sports Talk Social Community Stats:

As we have been repeating many a times week over week, this community keeps growing and that's obvious as we all love Sports and would like to write about our favorite Sports.

Sports Talk Social got 37 new members in last one week which is a bit lesser number compare to our last few week's numbers.

There is a slight decline even in the number of active users, number of interactions and pending rewards as well.

And it's also that, we have nominated just 16 blogs to @ocd for the curation which is a great decline as we couldn't get more quality blogs adhering to the simple rules we have set as standards for the nomination (the same rules are available below).

As I mentioned at the beginning of this blog, we have been trying to inspire our bloggers to bring out more quality blogs and get rewarded and the Bucket List event will hopefully inspire our bloggers.

As always, the below rules we have set on this community as minimum standards and these are included once again here for the benefit of new joinees and allow us to nominate the blogs to @ocd's incubation program and we urge our bloggers to take a note of these and adhere to it for more chance of getting curated.
  1. Content is genuine without plagiarism and is written by blogger in his own words.
  2. Images are properly sourced to include link to image.
  3. Blog has around 500 words (if not more than that) preferably in English and if it's multilingual, ensure English language content has around 500 words and has quality content.
  4. Please use Sports Talk Social as community while you post blogs so as to take it forward with the curation from this community.
  5. The blogger is interacting with others within the community and is responsive to the comments posted by others on his own blog.
  6. Please post the content related to Sports only in this community and don't use sportstalk and other sports related tags for non sports related blogs.
  7. Post your blogs within Sports Talk Social community to be eligible for the nomination to @ocd for curation by them.

Thanks as always to @sportstalksocial and @ocd for the support week over week and it's now more rewarding with the simple event introduced and we would to see many of you getting curated and rewarded for participating in the Bucket List event.

Wishing all a great weekend :)

I like the wish list initiative and I'm sure there will be posts that will allow us to get to know the members of the tribe a little better.

That's true and it also hopefully encourages to many to come up with their wish-lists about the sporting places they want to visit.

So far, as we can see, there are more Football lovers from what we see, but this opportunity will get us to know about other Sports as well is what I think.

Have a good day buddy :)
