A good start to the week - My Actifit Report Card: October 2 2023
This week we started off very well in terms of activity. Yesterday, my husband and I went hiking to the mountain early in the morning.
I had a dentist's appointment, so we really went walking very early. It was nice to go up at that time in the morning. This makes me think I should make the effort to get up early and do exercise in the morning. But I'm not going to fool myself 😅😆 I'll probably still be an occasional thing, and I'll keep walking in the afternoons.
But that wasn't all my activity. After the dentist, I walked home, which made me achieve a Monday with 10K steps, woohoo!!!!
Early in the morning, the mountain looked pretty clear.
Just a few clouds like tiny specks of cotton wool were visible over the top of the mountain. It had been days since I had seen it like that from there with a clear sky.
Although we were in a hurry, we also had time to complete small wonders of nature. Like these tiny blue flowers. I love blue.
The colorful butterflies were elusive to be photographed, but I could photograph this one, not colorful though.
And on this old log on the access road to the nature reserve, you can see that the mushrooms have started to sprout after the amount of rain that fell over the weekend.
A start of the week with more than 10k steps is not too shabby.

Lovely mountain side
