My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2025

It was a fun filled Wednesday. Even though I got exhausted at some point, I never wanted the day to end. We went for a video shoot for gospel music. As someone who understands videography, I was called to handle one of the cameras, taking various angles for the shoot. We had about 6 camera men for the shoot.

Getting to the studio, the studio light had not been fully on, the cameras were being set, the sound manager made sure that all equipment was intact, the stage had been designed to fit the fire scene, the back up singers were having their makeups and a projector was also set to display the song's lyrics.

I joined in setting the cameras and also the lighting. Setting up took almost half of the day but eventually the shooting started. We had the stage set to 3 different designs and the shots each time with the models wearing different clothes and taking different positions to fit each design.

For each stage set, we had to test run before taking the main shot. For some, we took about 3 shits before being satisfied with the take, and for some we took more shots.

By the time we were done, I checked the time and it was a few minutes to 8pm, I really would not know because in the studio, no natural light came through,only the studio light and everywhere looked the same all day.

We started to pack the cameras, light, light stand, camera stands and all other equipment we brought along into their various cases before going home.
