Hey Hive guys, @ctifit guys. I'm back here again with my @actifit step counter. Today before heading to work, I went out of my way to take some photos at a place I'd been to a few days ago when I was running errands with my son. At the time, I didn't have the time to take photos, but I promised myself I'd come, and today was the day I made it.

The place I headed to for the photo shoot is called the Big Low Center, located in the Valencia San Diego Municipality, near the Valencia Industrial Zone and bordering the Los Guayos Municipality, where I'm from. It's practically a 10-minute drive from where I live.

To get to the spot where I was supposed to take the photos, I had to cross a large footbridge. No matter how many times I walk across it, it always makes me dizzy, and I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like it's wobbly. I took a chance and took these photos for you.

Once we crossed the walkway we found ourselves at the Big Low Center.

I have many fond memories from my childhood specifically related to the Big Low Center, as it had one of the best attractions and amusement parks in the country, where my siblings and I spent much of our childhood and adolescence. Furthermore, the Big Low Center was one of the city's most iconic sites, where people from all over the country and abroad came to experience this wonderful place filled with buildings with a very distinctive Asian-style architecture and exquisite restaurants. And if that weren't enough, it had a very striking and colorful nightlife. #

However, today, only vestiges of the grandeur that was once part of the Big Low Center remain. Every time I pass by this place, I remember many beautiful things, but it also makes me very nostalgic and It's sad to see it in such a deplorable state and other sites in complete abandonment. The passenger terminal located here is still in operation, as are some facilities that still retain some of the beauty they once possessed.

I found Some sculptures corroded by neglect and neglect, such as these iron works.

I also found this large windmill that clings to standing in time even though it no longer serves any purpose, or Yes? A very poor memory of devastation and oblivion. How poetic I am, it's my nostalgia, so excuse me, dear reader.

Despite being something very similar to a ghost town, it still retains some of that beauty. We can still see some buildings that remain intact, even though the vast majority have been consumed by the passage of time. #

I dare say that going to the Big Low Center back then was like going to Disney World right now, and I'm not exaggerating. Whenever I walk through this place, I see my little girl from the past running around these places, and the feeling is wonderful. They say:

"To remember is to live"

I'm sure that better times will come, where we can see a country with more investment and where the desire to build a better future is reborn.

Hola chicos de Hive, chicos de @ctifit. Vuelvo otra vez por aquí con mi contador de pasos de @actifit. Hoy antes de ir a mi trabajo me desvié un poco del camino para tomar unas fotos a un lugar por donde fui días atrás cuando acompañé a mi hijo a hacer unas diligencias. En ese momento no disponía del tiempo necesario para dedicarme a tomar fotos , pero me prometí a mi misma que vendría y hoy fue el día pautado.

El lugar a donde me dirijí para la sesion fotográfica se llama el Big Low Center, ubicado en el Municipio Valencia San Diego, cerca de la Zona Industrial de Valencia y colinda con el Municipio Los Guayos de dodnde soy oriunda, queda prácticamente a 10 minutos en carro desde mi lugar de residencia.

Para llegar al sitio donde debía tomar las fotos, tenía que pasar por una gran pasarela, no importa las veces que transite por allí, siempre me da vertigo y no sé si soy yo pero siento que se tambalea, me arriesgué y tomé estas fotos para ustedes.

Una vez cruzada la pasarela nos encontamos en el Big Low Center.

Atesoro muy lindos recuerdos de mi niñez relacionados específicamente con el Big Low Center, ya que tenía uno de las mejores atracciones y parque mecánico del país, donde mis hermanos y yo disfrutamos gran parte de nuestra niñez y adolescencia. Además el Big Low Center era uno de los sitios más emblemáticos de la ciudad, donde venían personas de todos los rincones del país y extranjeros a conocer este maravilloso lugar repleto de edificaciones de una arquitectura muy particular de estilo asiático y unos exquisitos restaurantes, y por si fuera poco poseía una vida nocturna muy llamativa y colorida.

Sin embargo, hoy día, solo quedan vestigios de esa grandeza que alguna vez formó parte del Big Low Center, cada vez que paso por este lugar, recuerdo muchas cosas lindas pero también me da mucha nostalgia y tristeza verlo en un estado tan deplorable y otros sitios en completo abandono. El terminal de pasajeros ubicado aquí, todavía está en funcionamiento, al igual que algunas instalaciones que aun conservan parte de la belleza que en antaño poseían.

Encontré algunas esculturas corroidas por la desidia y el olvido, como por ejemplo estas obras de hierro

También encontré este gran molino de viento que se aferra a permanecer en el tiempo aunque ya no cumplan ninguna función,¿ o sí?, un recuerdo pauperrimo de devastación y olvido, que poética estoy, es mi nostagia, así que disculpa querido lector.

A pesar de ser algo muy parecido a un pueblo fantasma; aun conserva parte de esa belleza, aun podemos observar algunas edificaciones que se mantienen intactas a pesar de que la gran mayoría se dejaron consumir por el paso del tiempo.

Me atrevo a decir que ir al Big Low Center en aquellos años era como decir en este momento ir a World Disney y no estoy exagerando. Siempre que recorro este sitio veo a mi niña del pasado corretear por estos lugares y la sensación es maravillosa. Dicen por allí :

"Que recordar es vivir"

Estoy segura que vendrán mejores tiempos, donde podamos ver un país con mas inversión y donde renazcan las ganas de construir un mejor futuro.
