Today was quite busy. I had to get breakfast and lunch ready early, and get my son all ready for school. This was because my dad had a cardiologist appointment today, and we needed to be there early for his checkup.
We arrived early because the doctor sees many patients and appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. We were the first in line, but we left late because the doctor had an emergency and couldn't arrive on time. But she did arrive, and that was the important thing. She checked on my dad, performed an electrocardiogram, examined him, prescribed his treatment, and ordered his routine tests.
While I was at the office, I saw a cute kitten. One of the staff members asked me if I wanted to adopt it, but I told her I couldn't because I was also giving several cats up for adoption.
I noticed that many shops and stores are already decorating with Christmas motifs. The decorations and the overall atmosphere looked beautiful.
We arrived home after midday, very hungry. My mom had prepared a delicious lunch for us. Afterward, I went to buy my father his medication. I took advantage of the trip to buy a few other things besides the medicine. Of course, I also brought bread, and I arrived home in time for coffee with milk and bread. Best of all, it was a family coffee with my parents, my children, and my siblings.
