I had planned to go out these past few days. I wanted to do it earlier, but out of caution and because of the events that have been happening in the country, I postponed it until things were a bit calmer on the streets. I wanted to do some shopping and buy some shoes for back to school. I told my children to come with me today, January 15th, a holiday. In my country, it's Teacher's Day, so there are no school activities, but businesses in the city are operating normally.

I noticed very few people on the street. There's a certain tension; you realize it when you can't express yourself to others, when glances speak volumes, and when silences are heard. My beloved Venezuela is teetering on the brink; we are currently a country breathing the fear that lurks in every glance.

We walked through several stores, but I couldn't find the shoes I liked. There were some I liked, but they weren't my size. We bought a few things for the house, and before leaving, we stopped by our usual spot, Plaza Bolívar in downtown Valencia, to relax and admire the scenery.

I took advantage of this relaxing moment in the plaza and snapped some photos of the murals, which I'm sharing in this post. I think they're recent. After our well-deserved rest, we headed home, but not before buying our usual bread for breakfast tomorrow.

Saludos chicos de la comunidad de @actifit un placer estar por aquí compartiendo con ustedes mi actividad diaria.

Durante estos días tenía planificado salir, quería hacerlo anteriormente pero por precaución y por los acontecimientos ocurridos en el país lo pospuse hasta que todo estuviese un poco más calmado en las calles. Quería hacer unas compras y comprarme unos zapatos para el regreso a clases. Le dije a mi hijos que me acompañaran hoy 15 de enero día festivo, en mi país se celebra El Día del Maestro, no hay actividades escolares pero los comercios en la ciudad están laborando con normalidad.

Noté muy pocas personas en la calle, hay cierta tensión, te das cuenta cuando no puedes expresarte con el otro y cuando hay miradas que se leen y silencios que se escuchan. Mi querida Venezuela está tambaleando, actualmente somos un país respirando el miedo que se esconde en cada mirada.

Caminamos por varias tiendas pero no pude conseguir el zapato que me gustaba, habían unos que me gustaron pero no eran de mi talla. Compramos algunas cosas para la casa y antes de irnos pasamos por la habitual Plaza Bolivar del Centro de Valencia a descansar y admirar el paisaje.

Aproveché este momento de relax en la plaza y le tomé fotos a los murales que les muestro en el post. Creo que son unos murales recientes. Al terminar nuestro merecido descanso nos fuimos a nuestro hogar no sin antes comprar nuestro acostumbrado pan para el desayuno de mañana.
