Gambling Dapp Dividends Report | New Weekly User Records!
Thinks are holding pretty well considering the current market conditions and Sportbet.one saw a significant increase in their userbase these past weeks likely thanks to the world cup.
Sportbet.one (SBET)
Something that I have wanted to see happening for a long time is to see the number of individual users that placed at least 1 bet during the week on Sportbet.one. This now despite the bear market seems to be happening setting a new record last week reaching above 300 individual users. This doesn't however mean that the dividends go up equally as they are heavily dependent on a couple of larger players on the platform. I also guess this has everything to do with the world cup as this brings in many people that usually don't bet and there might be a decline again afterward. Regardless it's a good overall sign to see growth there in times like this.
The dividends themselves counted in dollars have not increased these past weeks but have actually gone down a little mainly due to the crash in BTC from 20k to around 16k in that period. The returns however have gone up since it looks like someone sold some SBET which took the price down quite a bit as it is highly illiquid. It remains somewhat of a guessing game who sold tokens and why but it was not someone from the top accounts and there was also a bit of buying including myself which got the overall marketcap above 1 Million again.
I did buy an extra 100k SBET paying 229$ for it. I actually wanted to buy more but at the same time know I probably shouldn't as I'm already overexposed given the risk this all involves and while I like the product, I also don't see it as anything that will revolutionize the industry. My main belief is that it will continue to provide a good income stream with the potential to grow over time.
If I wasn't overly exposed, I would personally buy at this point given the fact that returns on a weekly basis at current prices were +1.15% & +1.14% these past 2 weeks while I consider somewhere between 0.6% and 0.8% as a weekly return a fair range given the risk that comes with it. If dividends show a lot of promise and the price stays around the current range, I might add some more working my way up from the current 7.5 Million SBET to holding 8 Million SBET
Betfury.io (BFG)
Betfury also seems to do quite ok during this world cup offering a ton of prop bets. I have taken some myself and from the looks of it either my account got limited or the limits on some of these bets are set really low. I'll see going forward if I take more bets what this will be. Both the dividends and the price have held up this past week despite the BTC Price decrease.
It does feel like things kind of bottomed and if I had the funds available I would start to be tempted to add some more to my stack. One of the main questions will be what will happen once all coins are mined and how this will affect the actual gambling activity on the platform.

Note: Token prices going up or down have a major influence on the actual returns going forward either amplifying them if they go up or destroying them when the price would dip even though I'm already too heavily invested.
Personal Gambling Dapp Portfolio
I did increase my holings a little bit adding 100k SBET. These last 2 weeks resulted in a solid 250$ and 277$ worth of dividends for holding 7.5 Million SBET & 550k BFG. I'm mostly still looking to diversify with other good gambling dapps that pay the losses or fees from the gambler to those holding a token. Anyone that has tips on this, please leave a comment below...
