2 mid-week matches this week that were postponed due to teams needing extra recovery inbetween important European Playoff matches. So both of them have big teams starting today with Antwerp vs Racing Genk.

Antwerp FC vs Racing Genk

Both these teams (which I backed) narrowly won their matches last weekend. Antwerp kind of disappointed me again as what they have managed to bring so far has not fully lived up to the potential of the player quality they have in their team. I do still see them as a team who have great things in them but need to see it actually coming out before I'll back them with confidence. Genk Coach went to the extreme in his rotation switching 7 players which was much more than expected and it showed in their game as they had control over the match but at the same time, no answer to the bus Stvv parked even getting behind on a rare counter. Once more A-Squad players came in, the difference was quickly noticeable and they managed to still turn it around to a 1-2 score. Today, everyone aside from Bongonda who is injured is expected to play. Both coaches are offensive-minded so it should be a match with some space. The market also expects it to be an open match with the total line set at 3.5. I do expect Genk to both have a better offense and a better defense. Based on what both teams have shown so far, I have to take a small-medium 0.4 unit bet on racing Genk -0.25 @ 1.820.
