2 matches that were supposed to be played last Saturday got postponed and are on the schedule to be played today. Even though I already made previews on these, I'm updating them as I have some more info and other pre-game bets to share. The first one already starts 1 hour from now...
Waasland-Beveren vs AS Eupen
So The coach from Waasland before the match was about to start came with a really offensive line-up stating that they were going to go all out on this one being fired up to get a result. While the surprise effect is somewhat ruined now, there was enough indication for him to just sticking to this plan today so I expect Waasland to start with forwarding intentions and the drive to score and restore their previous capabilities to score. Koita who was one of their best players at the start of the season before dropping his form will be back tonight. Eupen tends to do well against offensive teams but struggles against teams that lay back. Last Saturday, I took a bet on Over 11 corners @ 2.81 which now is reduced to 2.45 odds so I have to skip pre-game (I will possibly be looking to get into the corner over in-game as it is set out to be an offensive match while Eupen had at least 11 corners in 6 of their last 9 and Waasland 4 out of their last 6. I do expect Waasland to go forward today but I fear Eupen will punish them on the counters which is something the betting market agrees with giving the visitors a -0.75 line. I do see the corners matchup quite even and took a little bit on
Waasland +1 Corners @ 1.961 along with a small initial bet on
1st Half Over 1 @ 1.76 with an eye to take more in-game as I do expect an open start of the game. Should be interesting
KV Oostende vs Racing Genk
Not all too much has changed on my view on this match so I will just copy-paste what I wrote before. "This will be a very interesting matchup between Oostende who has been the revelation of the league playing a high pressing game also putting up good results. Racing Genk has shown that they have a lot of potential but the poor pitches seem to have shaken them up a bit. They did however show good signs in the cup match against Stvv while Oostende lost against Cercle Brugge. I expect a high-intensity match from the start and kind of fear for Oostende that they will get hit by fatigue being unable to keep their excellent form going. Both the +0 line and 2.75 lines that are currently in place make sense to me. I do have a lean on the over but will just wait it out and see what happens before getting in."
