I skipped on making a preview yesterday because I didn't really have much of an opinion on the match and a lack of time. I did end up having 1 tiny corner bet (due to limits) which turned out in an easy win for around 0.115 unit profit. Full previews on each of the 4 matches for Saturday...
Beerschot vs Oostende
This match between 2 teams with some of the worst streaks in the league. Beerschot is last 11 points behind on Oostende and after a brief good period, they are now again with 3 losses in a row. All these losses were with a minimum of goals against (4 in total) and no goal scored. They are still in a mode where they haven't given up yet and believe a winning streak is possible to potentially get them out of trouble. Quality is also just clearly lacking in the team. Oostende is somewhat similar with the difference that they had a really good streak near the start of the season. They lack quality because so many of their best players left but they still have the good mentality looking at 1 match at a time. Beerschot is the team that needs the win way more but they have such a hard time scoring goals and remain vulnerable on the counter. I see the odds of Oostende making use of this higher compared to the chance that Beerschot just straight up will be the better team in this one. This made me go with a 0.25 unit bet on
Oostende +0.5 @ 1.800 and also a 0.15 unit bet on
Oostende 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.755. Beerschot does have the advantage of not having played a mid-week match though. If there are signs of fatigue I might hedge out of my position in-game. I'm also leaning toward the under but the fact that these matches potentially can get wild if there is an early goal keeps me away.
Union vs Cercle Brugge
This is a match between the 2 teams that currently have the best form. Cercle Brugge did not only start winning matches, their quality of play also just has been good. They took 4 wins in a row and should be quite safe. Union also just keeps playing good winning their matches showing excellent quality all season long with few exceptions to that. Overall I do rate Union as a team with more intrinsic quality. Both have shown to be capable defensively ranking quite high in those standings. I do expect a rather cautious start in this match. Union should be the better team coming out on top in the end but the -0.75 line is not worth the risk for me. Union is 12-3 on at least 10 corners in their matches, Cercle 6-3 on the over in away matches which is one of the things I will keep an eye out for if it turns out in an up & down encounter. For now, I'm just opting to stay away.

Zulte-Waregem vs Kv Mechelen
Zulte-Waregem coach Dury left / was Fired this week as Zulte-Waregem got themselves in last position. This was his last year after being with the team for a very long time. Secondary coaches Simons and De Pauw will take over so not that much change for a potential shock effect. Their main issue was defensively getting way too many goals against. They haven't exactly been overrated on the betting market both on the side (where they have been profitable) and the over where they lost on the closing lines. Overall a really tricky team as you want to back them because they get heavy handicaps they tend to beat while at times just being without chance losing by a lot. It always feels somewhat of a gamble what it will be. I have no clue at the moment what the new coaches will change. Mechelen is also one of those teams that both play excellent matches followed by potentially really bad performances. They took a 4-3 win at home in the mid-week against in-form team AA Gent with winger Storm stealing the show. It's a match where I'm most comfortable to just wait and see even though my choice right now would for sure be Mechelen -0.5 @ 2.097.

AA Gent vs Sint-Truiden
AA Gent is in good form even though they took a 4-3 loss against Kv Mechelen in the mid-week which was one of the rare cases they got a lot of goals against. Lately, they have been really solid on the defensive end while having Tissoudali on the offense in great form. Stvv is a team that is also capable defensively especially away and I do expect that approach from them trying to keep things closed in the back. A Remarkable statistic from Stvv away is that they didn't lose any of their last corners matchups. If Gent takes the lead I might opt for Stvv on the corners handicap. I also do have a lean on the home side who should just be better over 90 minutes but I kind of want a better line / odds hoping it will be a slow start. For now,
