Jupiler League Week 22 Friday | Cercle Brugge vs Standard

The 2 cup matches over the mid-week were pretty neutral coming away with just a small 0.035 unit profit overall. Week 22 in the League is on the schedule this weekend starting with Cercle Brugge vs Standard tonight which is a match I won't be able to watch which I'm taking into the stakes of the bets that I placed.

Cercle Brugge vs Standard

Last weekend in the first match of Leko as a coach of Standard, they ended up losing 0-1 at home to Kortrijk and Standard simply was not good enough. This has been classic Standard for a while that they can have good matches against anyone but also have these games where they lose against a bottom team. This mainly makes it that you don't want to back them as the favorite. They did have multiple key missings with Alzate and Kawabe out in the midfield. They should be back but might start on the bench. Kanga got injured and likely won't play while Canak and Ngoy also are injured. This leaves Standard not at their absolute best but also not at their worst as Key players should be back and the ones who are out can be replaced. Cercle Brugge played a good 1st half against Genk who were weakened taking home a 1-1 result. They still are without Siquet, Ravych, Francis who normally would be starters and Popovic was transferred to Anderlecht. They continue to be an under team mainly because they don't live up to their expected goals. I still see them as a bit overrated on the market and the -1 handicap for me is just too much even though I'm not really that crazy about Standard now. It remains a match that needs to be played and I was willing to take 0.3 units on Standard +1 @ 2.009 and also a 0.1 unit bet on Standard +0 @ 4.954. Cercle continues to be an under team accross the board and it can't be said that Standard finds the goal easily also with just 19 goals scored in 21 matches. I continue to take small bets on the under this time 0.2 units on Under 3 @ 1.903
